Associate Designer

Responsibilities:

Execute Showroom samples for assigned category, review finished samples for quality& accuracy Work directly with pattern makers.

Initiate cut tickets and follow sample through sewing room Communicate with factories and request and track samples.

Work directly with print studios, dye houses and wash houses and embroiderer on all send outs Execute samples and Cad boards as requested by sale Source trims and keep accurate up to date library Submit costing tech packs to production.

Execute line sheets, Cads and Prints as needed Work on Private label projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of garment construction Strong Computer sketching skills.

Knowledge intermediate to expert level Photoshop and illustrator skills PDM knowledge is beneficial.

 

 

Technical Designer - Jr. Dresses

Responsibilities:

Extensive knowledge of Technical Package creation from style sketch through construction detail, trims, and fabric specifications Very proficient in measuring and departmental organization.

Ability to conduct fit sessions and make detailed fit comments Experience communicating with Chinese factories

 

Qualifications/Experience:

Associates or bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or comparable program. A minimum of 7-10 years' in Technical Design in Junior Dresses a plus Knowledge of Web PDM and PLM system.

Extensive knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator Software a must Proficient in garment construction a MUST!

Patternmaking background a plus.

Strong PC application skills (i.e. Windows, Excel, Word, Access) Good written and oral communication skills.

Team player.
