MICHAEL M. SAUNDERS
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Michael M. Saunders was named corporate vice president in June 2007, in addition to his current
post of chief information officer. He has held the CIO position since May 2005. In March 2006 he
added vice president to his title.
As head of Kellwood’s information technology function, Mr. Saunders has spearheaded an
aggressive build-out and integration of Kellwood’s corporate and multidivisional global information
technology platform.
Prior to joining Kellwood, Mr. Saunders held the post of vice president-business processes
and CIO for Russ Berrie and Company Inc.; with responsibility for IT, internal audit, business
processes, and customer service areas. He also served as vice president and CIO of Danskin Inc.
Mr. Saunders also held various positions at Kurt Salmon Associates, where he consulted for
industry-leading clients in the apparel and consumer products industry.
Mr. Saunders holds a BS in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Polytechnic
Institute and State University at Blacksburg, Virginia.
